It’s now 4:39 am. Just done writing notes and do some preparation for tomorrow’s lab. I’m having problem to sleep again. Maybe I shouldn’t stop taking the anti-stress medicine that I got from doctor last semester. Things are getting difficult each day. Components for my project couldn’t be found in Germany, lots of reports to write, interviews for a thesis placement and exams are coming…how I wish I never choose to further my study.  4 years here were challenging enough and why do I need to add another years of it? Sigh! Going through difficulties in study make me so thrill to do another thesis. At this moment, working on a project in a company would be much fun. Plus I’ll earn money at the end of the month. Who is not happy about that? And guys, wish me luck for my first English interview this Thursday!

Back to the topic, what is a must in Spring? Can you guess???

Setting up the fire…it’s BBQ time!

And yeah…that’s it. Spring is the time to eat barbecue chicken, lamb, meat, corn…you name it! As the weather getting better, we the Weingarteners (here in Germany, we called people who stay in Weingarten as Weingartener or in Konstanz as Konstanzer. The -er ending representing the community) are all getting bigger. Haha…how I wish the other way round. I wonder why in Malaysia we are not that excited barbecuing. Maybe we did organize some but not as big as here in Germany. Is it because sunny day are not that hard to find that everyone feels no need to celebrate? hurmm…

As this was the first BBQ in 2011, it was BIG! We have all different kind of foods but I’m not that surprised that no matter how much we prepared, we somehow able to finish everything (and I’m sure I’ll get a lot of comments about my chubbiness. I’m working on it guys! Trust me!). Enough with the story, let us just scroll down for pictures ok.

When two become one: Sardines Sandwich and my all time favourite Mayonnaise  Egg Sandwich. Easy peasy to prepare.

Atie was preparing the lamb for us and Yusri just wanted to interframe.

Nicely prepared chicken from the juniors. Thank you my dear ‘adik-adik‘.

Meat on fire. I’m starving now.

Rice porridge is one of my favourite food. I used to cook this in the evening for tea time.

This is Jimmy. He is on duty at that time and also today. I asked for mee bandung tonight and let see how that turn out. Can’t wait!

Kimi, our so called Datuk Bandar for this session. He is responsible for handling any activities in Weingarten.

Star of the event!

Everyone is busy doing…nothing! That is how a barbecue day should looks like.

Working happily? This can’t be real! I’m confuse!

So that was our first BBQ for 2011. We had another one last 2 weeks. The weather was much better in April. I’ll update about date later. Take care everyone!
