I just wasted my first day of long weekend by doing nothing today. I didn’t recall doing anything related to my study and I felt regret. So, I promise myself, that tomorrow better be good. How come I get four days of weekend this week? Hehe…today is a public holiday in Baden-Württemberg, Germany (not sure about the rest of Germany but at least we have it here in south. yeay!) It is called ‘Christi Himmelfahrt’ in German. »

I’m just kidding. It was nothing like road tour at all. After a few very full and tiring days around Amsterdam and Brussels, we finally took our time and just enjoying the view of Rotterdam. It is very unlikely that a town in Europe is open on Sunday (or is it only in Germany?) but Rotterdam is actually open on Sunday. Yeay! We started our day by wandering around the city. I heard a lot of good thing about Brussels from Suhana. She was there for a while and has been raving about the food and the city of Brussels. Brussels is not very far from Rotterdam. We thought about making a day visit there from Rotterdam but not so sure whether that could happen. So we decided to just went to Rooterdam first and discuss it with Jimang. Done with Amsterdam city? Not sure where else to visit? Let me give you some tips. You could either go to Keukenhof, where you could see the beautiful tulips garden or pay a short visit to Zaanse Schans (it took us more than days to remember this name). Early March, I revisited Amsterdam together with Hafiz and Krun. We didn’t plan much on the trip. We randomly book the cheapest Easyjet flight that we could get from Basel, which happened to be Amsterdam. There are some misunderstanding in my previous entry. It didn’t took me 12 hours to reach Rhine Falls. Just less than 2 hours. The 12 hours were the total time I spent to complete the journey, stayed there and going back home. If it took me 12 hours, I better book a flight and going back home which took me 13 hours.
